9 year old Kiliko is a Muyu-preneur with a social mission. She is using her Queens based Sunrise business to make jewelry and greeting cards. From her profits she wants to help Native American children. She learned about Native Americans in school and was inspired when she learned about how they hunted, harvested plants, and made handmade clothes. She also learned how difficult their lives have become and Kiliko was inspired to combine her creativity with her desire to help. Kiliko sold her products at our December holiday market and she discovered that selling was fun and that she felt good about earning money and supporting an important cause.
Her products will be priced starting at $3.
